- Challenges & points How are exercise minutes counted? Exercise minutes are the length of workouts you start and stop on your watch or phone app. They aren’t intensity or active minutes, and everyday walking usually doesn’t count.
- Connecting a device How do I connect Fitbit or Google Health? Fitbit and Google Health are the same thing now: Google retired the old Fitbit connection and YuMuuv connects to Fitbit data through Google Health. Reconnect once via Your details → Change integration → Google Health.
- Adding or fixing steps I joined late. Why aren’t my earlier days showing? Depending on your device, YuMuuv may not receive data from before you connected it. Send support a screenshot of each missing day since the challenge started and they can add it.
- Data not syncing My Garmin isn’t syncing Check your watch has synced to the Garmin Connect app, then check YuMuuv is a connected app there with data sharing on.
- Connecting a device My Google Fit isn’t syncing. Should I still use it? No. Google is shutting Google Fit down, so use Health Connect instead: let your step app write to Health Connect and choose Health Connect in YuMuuv.
- Data not syncing My Suunto isn’t syncing Check the Suunto app shows your activity, then connect Suunto again under Change integration if YuMuuv stopped receiving data.
- Data not syncing One day’s steps are missing or showed up on the next day Usually the day is just late. Let your device’s app sync, then open YuMuuv and tap Update your data; steps saved in Apple Health or Health Connect still come through.
- Connecting a device Does my Oura ring or WHOOP work with YuMuuv? Yes, through Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. There’s no direct Oura or WHOOP integration planned.
- Connecting a device Does Strava work with YuMuuv? Not directly. Workouts reach YuMuuv when Strava saves them to Apple Health or Health Connect and that is your integration.
- Connecting a device Garmin or Polar says it’s already connected to another YuMuuv account A Garmin or Polar account can be linked to only one YuMuuv account, so you probably have a second YuMuuv account, often from a previous employer or another email address.
- Connecting a device How do I connect Samsung Health or my Galaxy Watch? Choose Health Connect in YuMuuv and let Samsung Health write your steps to Health Connect. Samsung Health isn’t in YuMuuv’s list because YuMuuv reads it through Health Connect.
- Challenges & points My challenge counts distance. Why don’t my steps count? A distance challenge counts the distance your phone or watch records, not your steps. YuMuuv doesn’t turn steps into distance.
- Data not syncing My steps aren’t syncing or counting. What should I check first? First check that your steps are in your watch’s app, Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android). YuMuuv only reads from there, so if they’re missing there, the problem is between your device and that app.
- Data not syncing My steps in YuMuuv don’t match my watch, ring or phone YuMuuv shows the steps your integration sends, so compare with Apple Health, Health Connect or your watch’s app first. A difference usually means steps went missing or were counted twice on the way.
- Connecting a device My watch or ring isn’t on the list Let your device’s app share your steps with Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), then choose that as your integration in YuMuuv.
- Data not syncing The app is down or slow. Will I lose my steps? No. Your activity stays in your watch app, Apple Health or Health Connect and syncs when YuMuuv works again.
- Data not syncing Why do my steps only update when I open the app? Apple Health and Health Connect send your data to YuMuuv when you open the app, so open it at least once a day.
