How do I connect Fitbit or Google Health?
Fitbit is now Google Health – it is not one or the other. Google retired the old Fitbit connection on 30 October 2026, and YuMuuv now receives Fitbit data through Google Health. Reconnect once via Your details → Change integration → Google Health. Step-by-step guide: Google Health.
The Health Connect / Apple Health route below still works as an alternative if you prefer it.
Google closed the old direct Fitbit connection in September 2026. Now the Fitbit (Google Health) app shares your steps with Health Connect (Android) or Apple Health (iPhone), and you choose that in YuMuuv.
Android
- Let the Fitbit (Google Health) app write Steps to Health Connect.
- In YuMuuv: profile circle (top right) → Your details → Change integration → Health Connect. Allow Steps, then tap Update your data.
iPhone
- In the Google Health app, if it offers Apple Health under Connections → Apps and services, allow it to share Steps.
- In the Health app, go to Browse → Activity → Steps → Data Sources & Access, tap Edit and move Google Health to the top.
- In YuMuuv, choose Apple Health under Change integration and tap Update your data.
If the app can’t share with Apple Health, contact support. If you see a Google Health option under Change integration, you can choose it.
