Which watches and apps work with YuMuuv?
YuMuuv connects directly to Garmin, Polar and Suunto, and to Apple Health on iPhone and Health Connect on Android. Most other watches and rings work through Apple Health or Health Connect.
All answers
- Google Health You use a Fitbit and were asked to reconnect, or your data stopped syncing? Fitbit's old connection to YuMuuv is being retired by Google. Reconnect once through Google Health and your steps and activities keep flowing as before.
- How do I connect Apple Health so my steps count? In the YuMuuv app on your iPhone, choose Apple Health under Change integration and allow all permissions. Apple Health only connects in the phone app, not in the web version.
- How do I connect Samsung Health or my Galaxy Watch? Choose Health Connect in YuMuuv and let Samsung Health write your steps to Health Connect. Samsung Health isn’t in YuMuuv’s list because YuMuuv reads it through Health Connect.
- How do I connect Fitbit or Google Health? Fitbit and Google Health are the same thing now: Google retired the old Fitbit connection and YuMuuv connects to Fitbit data through Google Health. Reconnect once via Your details → Change integration → Google Health.
- I use a Huawei watch or phone. How can I take part? YuMuuv can’t read Huawei Health directly, so what works depends on your phone. On an iPhone or another Android phone there’s a route; on a Huawei phone there’s no automatic one.
- Does my Oura ring or WHOOP work with YuMuuv? Yes, through Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. There’s no direct Oura or WHOOP integration planned.
- Does Strava work with YuMuuv? Not directly. Workouts reach YuMuuv when Strava saves them to Apple Health or Health Connect and that is your integration.
- Garmin or Polar says it’s already connected to another YuMuuv account A Garmin or Polar account can be linked to only one YuMuuv account, so you probably have a second YuMuuv account, often from a previous employer or another email address.
- The integration screen keeps loading, or I can’t sign in to my watch account Tap Cancel, close YuMuuv fully, update it and choose your integration again. For a watch, sign in with the account your watch uses; YuMuuv can’t see or reset that password.
- Can I take part with just my phone? Yes. On iPhone, choose Apple Health and your phone’s steps count. On Android, choose Health Connect; your phone’s step counter or a step app such as Samsung Health must write steps to Health Connect.
- My Google Fit isn’t syncing. Should I still use it? No. Google is shutting Google Fit down, so use Health Connect instead: let your step app write to Health Connect and choose Health Connect in YuMuuv.
- My watch or ring isn’t on the list Let your device’s app share your steps with Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), then choose that as your integration in YuMuuv.
- Can I connect two devices at once? No. Each YuMuuv account has one integration active at a time, and YuMuuv counts only what that integration sends.
- Will I lose my data if I change phone or watch? No. Your results are saved in your YuMuuv account, not on the phone. Log in to the same account on your new phone and connect your watch or health app again.
