- Challenges & points Can people with disabilities take part on equal terms? Yes. Your organiser can have manual entry turned on just for you, and the Activity converter turns other activity, such as wheelchair use, into steps.
- Adding or fixing steps I joined late. Why aren’t my earlier days showing? Depending on your device, YuMuuv may not receive data from before you connected it. Send support a screenshot of each missing day since the challenge started and they can add it.
- Data not syncing One day’s steps are missing or showed up on the next day Usually the day is just late. Let your device’s app sync, then open YuMuuv and tap Update your data; steps saved in Apple Health or Health Connect still come through.
- For organisers Can I change a challenge after it starts? Yes. Tap the three dots next to the challenge and choose Edit challenge. For changes you can’t make there, such as the start date or goal type, contact support.
- App & account Can I use YuMuuv on my computer? Yes. Go to app.yumuuv.com and log in with the same email and password as in the app. Apple Health and Health Connect can only be connected in the phone app.
- Challenges & points Do cycling, swimming or yoga count in my challenge? It depends on what your challenge measures. In a step challenge they add few or no steps, but in a workout-minutes challenge any recorded workout counts.
- Connecting a device Does my Oura ring or WHOOP work with YuMuuv? Yes, through Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android. There’s no direct Oura or WHOOP integration planned.
- For organisers How do I add or correct activity for a participant? Go to Admin, then Import data, and upload the person’s total for each day. The upload replaces that day’s total, it doesn’t add to it.
- Adding or fixing steps How do I add steps or a workout by hand? If your challenge or your organiser allows manual entry, open Activities in the latest YuMuuv app and tap the green Record activity button.
- Adding or fixing steps How do I correct wrong steps? Send support a screenshot from your device’s app showing the date and the daily total for each wrong day. If activity is only missing and your challenge allows manual entry, you can add it yourself.
- For organisers How do I create a company challenge? Go to Challenges, tap the green Create button and choose your company as the organiser.
- For organisers How do I include people who can’t wear a tracker? Ask support to turn on manual entry just for those people, or add their activity yourself with Import data.
- For organisers How do I stop cheating or unrealistic results? Set a daily limit per user. Anything above it doesn’t count, whatever caused it.
- For organisers How do I turn manual entry on or off? Open the challenge, tap Edit goal, switch Manual entry on or off and tap Save. This applies to everyone in the challenge.
- Adding or fixing steps I added steps by hand in a health app. Why don’t they count? Steps and workouts typed into Apple Health, Health Connect or Google Fit don’t count. Only activity your phone, watch or ring recorded counts, which keeps the challenge fair.
- Adding or fixing steps I added the wrong amount by hand. How do I fix it? Fix or remove it in the same place you added it. If you can’t, email support with the date and what you entered, and we’ll correct it.
- Connecting a device I use a Huawei watch or phone. How can I take part? YuMuuv can’t read Huawei Health directly, so what works depends on your phone. On an iPhone or another Android phone there’s a route; on a Huawei phone there’s no automatic one.
- Challenges & points My challenge counts distance. Why don’t my steps count? A distance challenge counts the distance your phone or watch records, not your steps. YuMuuv doesn’t turn steps into distance.
- Connecting a device My watch or ring isn’t on the list Let your device’s app share your steps with Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), then choose that as your integration in YuMuuv.
- Data not syncing My Zwift, Peloton or Strava workout is in Garmin Connect but not in YuMuuv Garmin doesn’t pass on workouts that other apps send to Garmin Connect, so YuMuuv never receives them.
- Privacy & data What personal data does YuMuuv collect about our employees? Only name, email and time zone are required. Activity data comes only from the device or app each person connects, and YuMuuv doesn’t collect location.
- Challenges & points Which workouts count in a workout-minutes challenge? Any workout you start and stop on your watch or app counts, whatever the intensity.
- Adding or fixing steps Why can’t I add activity by hand? Your challenge organiser decides whether manual entry is allowed. If it’s off, your activity has to come from your phone or watch.
