- Data not syncing Apple Health is connected, but my steps aren’t showing YuMuuv is usually connected but not allowed to read your steps. Turn on Steps and Walking + Running Distance for YuMuuv in your iPhone’s Health settings, then open YuMuuv and tap Update your data.
- Connecting a device My Google Fit isn’t syncing. Should I still use it? No. Google is shutting Google Fit down, so use Health Connect instead: let your step app write to Health Connect and choose Health Connect in YuMuuv.
- Connecting a device Will I lose my data if I change phone or watch? No. Your results are saved in your YuMuuv account, not on the phone. Log in to the same account on your new phone and connect your watch or health app again.
- Connecting a device How do I connect Apple Health so my steps count? In the YuMuuv app on your iPhone, choose Apple Health under Change integration and allow all permissions. Apple Health only connects in the phone app, not in the web version.
- Data not syncing I connected Health Connect, but my steps don’t show Health Connect doesn’t count steps itself. The app that counts your steps, such as Samsung Health, must write them to Health Connect, and YuMuuv must be allowed to read them.
- Connecting a device I use a Huawei watch or phone. How can I take part? YuMuuv can’t read Huawei Health directly, so what works depends on your phone. On an iPhone or another Android phone there’s a route; on a Huawei phone there’s no automatic one.
- Data not syncing My steps aren’t syncing or counting. What should I check first? First check that your steps are in your watch’s app, Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android). YuMuuv only reads from there, so if they’re missing there, the problem is between your device and that app.
- Connecting a device The integration screen keeps loading, or I can’t sign in to my watch account Tap Cancel, close YuMuuv fully, update it and choose your integration again. For a watch, sign in with the account your watch uses; YuMuuv can’t see or reset that password.
