How much does StepSense cost?
StepSense does not publish prices for its classic app or for StepSense Gold. Both websites offer only a contact form or a demo request, and we found no self-serve trial (October 2026).
How much does YuMuuv cost?
For 25 users: US$600 (€516) for a challenge of up to two weeks, US$800 (€688) for a month and US$2,400 (€2,064) for a full year. The price check above shows other team sizes, and you pay only for people who join.
What is the difference between StepSense and StepSense Gold?
Both are sold by the same South African team. The classic StepSense app is a white-label, map-based step challenge app, last updated in November 2025. StepSense Gold, first released in March 2026, adds learning pathways, a health assessment, a company feed, team chat and mood check-ins, and since version 2.07 counts workouts as well as steps.
Which watches and apps work with YuMuuv?
YuMuuv connects directly to Apple Health, Health Connect, Google Health (Fitbit), Garmin, Polar and Suunto. Samsung, Oura and most other watches and rings sync through Apple Health or Health Connect, and people without a watch can record a walk, run, ride or other workout in the app, with time, GPS distance and steps.
Can we try YuMuuv before our StepSense contract ends?
Yes. YuMuuv sells single challenges as well as yearly plans, so you can run one challenge first and decide afterwards. A free trial is also available on request.
Is YuMuuv secure?
YuMuuv is SOC 2 Type II certified and working towards ISO 27001, keeps data in the EU (AWS Frankfurt), follows GDPR and supports single sign-on with SAML or OIDC.
