How much does GymRats cost?
GymRats has no company plan. The app is free with ads and has no limit on participants, but each person can be in at most two active groups. GymRats Pro removes ads and limits for US$3.99 a month or US$32.99 a year per person, paid through Apple or Google (October 2026).
How much does YuMuuv cost?
For 25 users: US$600 (€516) for a challenge of up to two weeks, US$800 (€688) for a month and US$2,400 (€2,064) for a full year. The price check above shows other team sizes, and you pay only for people who join.
Is GymRats cheaper than YuMuuv?
Yes. A GymRats challenge can cost nothing if people use the free version with ads, and Pro costs US$32.99 a year per person. A year of YuMuuv for 25 people costs US$2,400, paid by the company, with single sign-on and a configuration call included.
Does GymRats track steps?
Not automatically. GymRats syncs workouts from Apple Health, Health Connect, Samsung Health and Garmin, but not daily steps, so in a step challenge people type their step count into each check-in. YuMuuv syncs steps and other activities from phones and watches automatically.
Which watches and apps work with YuMuuv?
YuMuuv connects directly to Apple Health, Health Connect, Google Health (Fitbit), Garmin, Polar and Suunto. Samsung, Oura and most other watches and rings sync through Apple Health or Health Connect, and people without a watch can record a walk, run, ride or other workout in the app, with time, GPS distance and steps.
Is YuMuuv secure?
YuMuuv is SOC 2 Type II certified and working towards ISO 27001, keeps data in the EU (AWS Frankfurt), follows GDPR and supports single sign-on with SAML or OIDC.
