For Who Are the User Created Challenges Meant?
From now on, not only admin users but also all participants can create their own challenges. This means that if you have a group of people you'd like to move with, you can now create activity challenges for up to ten people.
Up to 10 people can take part in a challenge, and they don't have to be from the company where you work - they can be family, friends, classmates or even strangers. But why not colleagues too!
You can create up to 3 different communities, so the maximum number of people you can invite to move with you is 30. However, as mentioned above, you can join up to 10 people in one challenge. However, you can do an infinite number of challenges with one group.
What Kind of Challenges You Can Create?
The types of challenge are endless - you can choose between activity challenges and well-being challenges. This means you can do step challenges, sleep challenges, calorie challenges, reading challenges, etc. with 9 other people.
We have written about the differences between the different challenges and the aspects to look out for before setting up a challenge HERE. It's important to read this to make sure that everyone who wants to take part in the challenge you are setting up can actually do so. For example, you cannot participate in some challenges without an activity monitor.
Why To Create Activity Challenges as a User?
The challenges created by your employer are certainly exciting and attractive, but it would also be fun to put yourself in the line with your loved ones. It's nice to get together with friends or family, when activity, exercise and general wellbeing are the things that bring you together. It keeps the conversation going for longer!
Moreover, it is a well-known fact that exercise and taking care of yourself prolongs life. And what a better daily gift for loved ones than a little competition to get the motivation to get off the couch when it seems like the hardest thing in the world to do. After all, it's always easier together!
But How To Create These Activity Challenges?
First, open the YuMuuv app and select "CREATE" from the upper right corner. Then you can create a new community and give a name for it.
Now it's time to decide which challenge you want to create. HERE is also a blog article on the difference between the different challenges. Also, you will need to choose the type of challenge, the different settings, the challenge period, and the type of goal.
Last, but not least – it's time to set a name, a prize (can also be just a healthier body, a happier month, etc.) and also write a description for participants.
Once the challenge has been created, clicking on your initials in the upper right corner will bring up a place called "User management". This is where you can see the people who have joined your challenge. However, these people don't just appear there.
You'll see a SIGN UP code in the top left corner of the user management sheet - you can send this to people you want to get involved in your challenge.
With this code, they can create their own account, after which you will automatically see them in the user management. If you have any questions about creating a challenge or need some ideas, contact with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
