The short answer
Both run activity challenges for companies. Myles turns 100+ activities into points that employees swap for gift cards or charity donations, paid per person each month; YuMuuv is a fixed-price challenge platform with habit challenges, 50 languages and single sign-on.
Choose YuMuuv if you…
- have people in many countries: the app runs in 50 languages
- want habit challenges such as sleep, water or mindfulness alongside activity
- need single sign-on and a SOC 2 Type II report for IT and security approval
- run challenges all year for 60 people or more and want one fixed price
Myles Wellbeing may suit you better if you…
- want gift-card and charity rewards included in the price and handled for you
- want a lower price for a single challenge or a single month
- want 80+ ready-made virtual routes and a Slack app
Four differences that matter
-
50 languages vs English
YuMuuv runs in 50 languages, so global teams can join in their own language. The Myles app lists English only in the App Store, and we found no other languages on its website.
-
Habits as well as activity
YuMuuv runs habit challenges such as sleep, water and mindfulness next to 14 synced activities. Myles turns 100+ activities into points, and we found no habit challenges.
-
Ready for IT review
YuMuuv includes single sign-on (SAML, OIDC) on every plan, holds a SOC 2 Type II report and keeps data in the EU. Myles does not list single sign-on in its plans, and we found no security certification.
-
One price for the year
YuMuuv charges a fixed price for the period, with unlimited challenges. Myles charges per person each month, so a year for 100 people costs about $8,830, including £3.75 per person a month for rewards, against $5,100 at YuMuuv.
