Why didn’t my team’s score go up by all my steps?

Many team challenges rank teams by the average per member, so your steps are divided by the number of people in your team. Your organiser chooses total or average when creating the challenge.

• Average (AVG): the team’s total divided by the number of members. Small and large teams can compete fairly.
• Total (SUM): everyone’s results added together.

Your own steps still count in full in your individual results.

Earlier app versions let everyone switch between the two views. Now the organiser’s choice applies to everyone, and you can’t switch it yourself.
