Challenges & points
What counts, minutes, distance, prizes
- Can I make a private challenge with friends or family? Yes, for up to 10 people, who don’t need to be from your company.
- Can people with disabilities take part on equal terms? Yes. Your organiser can have manual entry turned on just for you, and the Activity converter turns other activity, such as wheelchair use, into steps.
- How are exercise minutes counted? Exercise minutes are the length of workouts you start and stop on your watch or phone app. They aren’t intensity or active minutes, and everyday walking usually doesn’t count.
- Do cycling, swimming or yoga count in my challenge? It depends on what your challenge measures. In a step challenge they add few or no steps, but in a workout-minutes challenge any recorded workout counts.
- Group chats Besides the chat inside each challenge, every group you belong to – your team, department or office – now has its own chat in the app. Open the Chat tab and pick the group.
- My challenge counts distance. Why don’t my steps count? A distance challenge counts the distance your phone or watch records, not your steps. YuMuuv doesn’t turn steps into distance.
- My challenge disappeared. Where are the results? When a challenge ends, it moves to the Past view. Open Challenges and switch to Past to see it and its final results.
- My steps show in YuMuuv but don’t count in the challenge. Why? Usually you haven’t joined the challenge yet, it started later, or it measures something other than steps. Check the challenge’s Info tab.
- Record an activity in the YuMuuv app No sports watch, and you'd rather not install yet another tracking app? Record your workout directly in YuMuuv: choose the activity, press Start, press Stop when you're done. The workout is saved to your activities and counts in your challenges.
- What do the scoring terms on the leaderboard mean? Each challenge measures one thing, shown on its Info tab. Here is what each term means.
- What does the green line on the leaderboard mean? Being above it means you’re on track to reach the goal by the end of the challenge.
- Which workouts count in a workout-minutes challenge? Any workout you start and stop on your watch or app counts, whatever the intensity.
- Who gives out the prizes? Your organiser does. YuMuuv doesn’t manage or send prizes.
- Why can I only mark some activities as done? Your organiser set those as one-click activities with a fixed amount. Do the activity as the challenge describes, then tap Mark as done to get its points.
